Come on in

We’re See Spot Run. This is our South Park office, home base for the work we’ve built over more than a decade. Come in.

Think of us as the office down the hall. Knock, plop down, tell us what you’re thinking. We’ll know what to do with it.

Whether you’re launching something new, have a story worth getting online, or just need to stick your head in and say “guys, we need more reviews” — we’ve got you.

Recording the stories of cancer survivors with our amazing cinematographer and producer Bill Phillips from White Rain Films.

Welcome to our digs in South Park

Filmmaking was our path to marketing

After four years of Chicago Film School mastering the art of the student film, you learn to play every role — director, producer, editor, costume designer, location scout, distributor. You figure it out or it doesn't get made. Or seen. Those instincts never left us — the drive to bring an idea to life, to tell a story, to get it in front of people. If anything they've gotten keener. The tools have grown beyond anything we could have imagined in that editing bay, but we never stopped learning how to use them to connect a story with an audience. That's still the whole job.

A Condensed History

Over the years we've helped an oncology practice build their entire online presence from the ground up, taken a small construction company and repositioned them as an exclusive DADU builder, helped local dental practices stand out in one of the most competitive categories there is, made fundraising films for nonprofits that still make people donate, helped high-end architects finally look as good online as their work does in person, built a ten-year film festival from scratch, and helped small niche businesses find their place on the map by encouraging their brand to live its truth.

We've taken on things we had no idea how to do because the technology was simply new — and we figured it out. That's still how we operate.

Building Web Presence is modern filmmaking

A website has a director, a writer, a cinematographer, an editor. Your social content has a story arc, a tone, a pace. Your brand has a voice the same way a film has a score — you feel it before you consciously hear it. Every discipline that goes into making a great film goes into making a great digital presence. We know this because we have done both. That is not a metaphor we borrowed. It is the framework we work from every day.

People

We are creative partners who have been making things together for a long time. Long enough to know what good looks like and what ‘fine’ costs you.

We are headquartered in South Park — a scrappy, gritty, quietly fascinating Seattle neighborhood that most people from other parts of the city are still discovering.

We like it here. It suits us.

We have worked across construction, healthcare, dental, flooring, nonprofits, sustainable products, community lending, independent film, and more. That range is intentional. When you only work in one world, your thinking starts to calcify. We stay curious on purpose.

We have a small team of technical experts and creatives who work with us. When you hire See Spot Run, you get us — not a handoff.

Philosophy

We are not for everyone. We mean that genuinely, not as a sales tactic. The clients we do our best work with are entrepreneurs who love what they built, are confident in their solution, and are willing to show up for the creative process.

We work best with clients that want a partner, not a vendor. They understand that marketing is not a switch you flip — it is a story you tell consistently over time. They think this is fun. They know life is short.

We give a shit about our clients’ success. That is not a line. It is the practical reality of being a small company where your clients’ wins are your wins. We are invested because we have to be, and because we want to be. Those two things happen to be the same. If that sounds like the kind of partnership you have been looking for, we should probably talk.
